Sensors for oxygen and temperature measurement CSOT

Optical oxygen sensor CSOT 63

Optical oxygen sensors are intended for measuring of oxygen concentration in liquid and gaseous media and for measuring of temperature.

Galvanically separated input block is built-in the sensor body. Connection with inputs of systems for controlling of technological processes is extremely simple and problem free.

IP 68 degree of cover enables direct application of the sensor in the technological process without additional housings.

Highlights

  • Galvanic separation of input and output circuits provided by input block makes interconnection of sensor to input circuits of INSA controllers or into inputs of systems for controlling of technological processes is simple and problem free
  • High degree of cover - IP 68 makes direct application to technological facilities possible without necessity of using additional housings.
  • Zero dependence of sensor signal on measured sample velocity enables correct measurement in any place of technology.
  • No influence of CO2, SO2, H2S considerably rises rightness and reliability of measurement especially in WWTPs.
  • Spherical cover of the measuring head increases medium velocity around active area of the sensor and improve in this way self-cleaning of the sensor in intensive aerated basins of WWTP or fish breeding tanks.

WASTE WATER TREATMENT PLANTS, FISH TANKS, RIVERS, PONDS, LAKES, etc.

Optical oxygen sensor CSOT 53

CSOT 53 sensors are successfully used in particular for measurement and control of oxygen concentration in biologically active basins in wastewater treatment plants, for oxygen measurement in surface, underground and wastewater, in fish breeding plants etc.

The CSOT 53 sensors are optical membranous sensors based on dynamic oxygen quenching. The detailed worked-through sensor design particularly ensures the following assets:

Highlights

  • Thanks to not consuming oxygen during operation of the sensors is possible to carry out measurement by zero velocity of the measured sample also.
  • The plastic membrane has extremely low pollution affinity, which is usually present in water. Another membrane feature is the excellent mechanical quality, which is decisive for the long-time operation of the sensor.
  • The smooth sensor surface (of the membrane head) with no inactive places, which dirt could stick to, enables sensor self-cleaning at higher measured water velocity, which leads to more correct measurement and to lower demands for maintenance.
  • Exchange of the membrane head is very easy. The used membrane head is unscrewed and the new membrane is simply screwed back in place.
  • Spherical shape of the membrane head improves self cleaning of the sensors used in nitrification basins of the WWTP and cut back so needs for manual cleaning.
  • No influence of CO2, SO2, H2S considerably rises rightness and reliability of measurement especially in WWTPs.

Process CSOT 53 sensors are delivered in following versions:

  • CSOT 53PS  is a sensor for use in the SPO 41, SPO 41K, SPO 41MEK probes, in PB 42, PB 43 units and PE G3/4K sleeve.
  • CSOT 53PL is sensor for use in SPR 42, SPR 41ME probes
  • CSOT 53S is sensor in stainless steel fitting intended for direct installation in the pipe.

Electrochemical oxygen sensor CSOT 43-R

CSOT 43-R sensors are successfully used in particular for measurement and oxygen concentration control in biologically active basins in wastewater treatment plants, for oxygen measurement in surface, underground and wastewater, in fish breeding plants etc.

The CSOT 43 sensor is a classic membranous dual electrode sensor, which is particularly unique because of its full glass detection system construction and the small surface of working electrode.

Highlights

  • The surface optimization of both electrodes ensures perfect full range sensor linearity, without the use of the third electrode.
  • The small surface of the working electrode results in low electrolyte consumption, which leads to longer operation per filling.
  • The relatively high volume of electrolyte increases the time stability of measurement.
  • The extremely low oxygen consumption leads to a lower demand for oxygen input into the electrode, that is a lower velocity of measured water. The sensor can actually work in any condition without additional mixing.
  • The plastic membrane has extremely low pollution affinity, which is usually present in water. Another membrane feature is the excellent mechanical quality, which is decisive for the long-time operation of the sensor.
  • The smooth sensor surface (of the membrane and membrane head) with no inactive places, which dirt could stick to, enables sensor self-cleaning at higher measured water velocity, which leads to more correct measurement and to lower demands for maintenance.
  • Exchange of the membrane, which is attached in membrane head, is very easy. The used membrane head is unscrewed; the new membrane is sprinkled with a few drops of electrolyte and screwed back in place.

Process CSOT 43 sensors are delivered in following versions:

  • CSOT 43PS-R is a sensor for use in the SPO 41, SPO 41K, SPO 41MEK probes, in PB 42, PB 43 units and PE G3/4K sleeve.
