On – line instruments

Oxygen

Automatic cleaning of oxygen sensors means comfortable and no-service operation during measuring oxygen in an arbitrary location and for any water quality.

pH value

pH value is one of the most important electrochemical water parameters...

Redox potential measurement

ORP measurement has been becoming increasingly important. This measurement is utilized, for example, for the control and monitoring of denitrification processes...

Conductivity measurement

The conductivity value monitors the total ion concentration in the measured solution...

Mounting hardware

Clamps and stands make the installation of probes and analyzers on circular profiles (such as tubes or railings) easier.

On-Line Instruments MFD 88

Up to 24 measuring variables simultaneusly

Up to 8 output relays

RS 485 MODBUS RTU, ASCII, WIFI

New line of process instruments follows successful line 66. Besides of standard in long term operation proven attributes such as automatic sensor cleaning, brings line 88 new functions that increase variability and flexibility and improve reliability of them First of all it is new way of communications between sensors and analyzers. Instead of analogue one instruments of 88 line, operate with data communication.

By one instrument is possible to measure - simultaneously – up to 12 variables in any configuration. Every measured variable can be completed with measuring of temperature.

By adding a new variable is this variable automatic incorporated by system including calibration constants and all configurational parameters.

There are following measuring variables currently available:

  • Oxygen concentration with electrochemical and also with optical sensors
  • ORP and pH value
  • Concentration of ammonia, ammonium, nitrates, chloride, fluoride, potasium measured by ISE and gas electrodes
  • Chlorine, chlorine dioxide and ozone concentration
  • Conductivity and TDS
  • Concentration of organics (SAK) and turbidity

All constants specific to the particular place of measurement, (e.g. calibration constants) are stored in sensors or input blocks, so it is possible change of installation place without necessity of recalibration.

Interconnection between analyzers and sensor is always accomplished by ordinary non-shielded two wire cable even in case of application with automatic mechanical cleaning.

Distance between analyzer and housing (sensor) can be up to 200 m.

Interface of instruments comprise:

Serial RS 485 Modbus (RTU + ASCII )

WIFI for easy communication with notebooks, tablets, mobiles.

Four programmable relay outputs can be used for signaling of exceeding of adjusted limit values or as power contacts for controlling solenoid valves, actuators or contactors in the process. Instead of analogue current outputs there is possible to use four another relay and increase in this way number of relays controlled by one instrument to eight.

Four analogue active current outputs. The outputs can be configured as two state also and in this mode can operate as four more relays.

Temperature range is expanded to – 20 to 50°C

Supply voltage can be 230V, 110V 50/60Hz and 24V=

A unique characteristic of the Series 88 instruments is the ability to provide automatic sensor cleaning. Mechanical cleaning of the sensor is simple, reliable and very efficient. It enables measurement in such cases where it would not be possible without cleaning; automatic cleaning is incorporated for measurement of pH, ORP, oxygen and conductivity. Automatic cleaning enables reliable measurement of, for example, pH during lime milk dosing for water neutralization and alcalinization, or measurement of pH with aggressive iron presence or inlet water in municipal wastewater treatment plants. For ORP measurement automatic cleaning is a must, except in a few special cases. Automatic sensor cleaning can be incorporated for manganese dosing or for the control of wastewater treatment denitrification.

With automatic cleaning it is possible to achieve long-term unattended operation with the measurement of oxygen and pH in high-eutrophicated surface water.
