The APS 66 ozone analyzer
The APS 66 process ozone analyzer is a two-ray UV photometer for continual measurement of ozone concentrations in gases. This instrument is suitable mainly for monitoring ozone concentrations at the outlet of ozone generators. The instrument provides immediate information on the condition of the generatorr. Any malfunctions influencing the functioning of the generator are immediately detected by this instrument and signalled to the operators. The measuring instrument is the principal element of a regulating chain which enables the controlling of the ozone generator and the optimising of the work of it in a way that it is possible to achieve maximally possible savings of electrical energy.

The instrument is divided into two units that do not have to be installed at the same location. The optical elements that are in contact with the measured sample are placed in the optical unit. The design of the cabinet of the optical unit (with the protection level IP 65) enables the installation of the cabinet practically in any place of the technological system. The installation of the optical unit can be adjusted in order to meet the requirements for maximally simple and reliable inflow of the sample into the analyser. The evaluation and controlling circuits are located in the other cabinet.
