SPO 41ME – Flow - through Probe with Automatic Cleaning

One sensorØ12/Ø15 x 115 mm with an implemented collar for gripping and sealing (and one temperature sensor) can be installed in the probe.
A brush, rod or other cleaning element automatically cleans the active part of sensor.
This probe is used when the sample is taken from the tap installed on the pipe or tank. The probe is fixed onto a vertical plate or wall by 2x M8 screws or on the pipe (O.D. 25 to 50 mm - i.e. on railing) by MUT 12 clamp. The measured sample is supplied and discharged by a 1/2" (Ø13mm) N.I.D. tube. The probe is designed for pressure free operation (the outlet tube ends in drain).
The probe is designed, first of all, for measuring pH values and a redox potential in water treatment plants. Usage of this probe is absolutely vital for measuring pH values after lime milk feeding. The probe enables reliable measuring even in cases when the original measuring by an instrument without automatic cleaning had to be abolished due to the necessity of constant manual cleaning.

The fact that the measuring does not require any chemicals is a clear advantage of this measuring method. It is not necessary to add acids or other chemicals.

The measuring process is actually continual – it is not interrupted by void (empty) periods that might take as many as tens of minutes as it is the case when cleaning with acids. This is another advantage of this probe.
