66 Series Portable Instruments

  • Measured value of oxygen concentration is available immediately after the instrument is on. It is not necessary wait after the sensor is polarized
  • Measurement of oxygen concentration is possible even in still water, it is possible to make pinpoint measurement and to draw a distribution map of oxygen concentration even in small water volume
  • Memory unit for 15 000 measured values
  • Real-time unit
  • RS 232 serial output
  • Human – instrument communication via dialog strips
  • Password protected configuration setting
  • Large size alphanumeric LCD readout
  • Oxygen semiautomatic calibration in the open air
  • Automatic temperature compensation
  • Automatic compensation of barometric pressure and salt content dependence
  • Voltage feeding from net adapter or from built in accumulator

Instruments work with CSOT 43 sensors. The extremely low oxygen consumption of these sensors leads to a lower demand for oxygen input into the electrode, which means a lower velocity of measured water. The sensor can actually work in any condition without additional mixing. The difference of measuring in an ideally mixed water sample and in the same sample without mixing is 5% of the measured value at 25°C.
This property enables pinpoint measurement and measurement of oxygen profile even in the smallest water volume. The measured value is automatically corrected for temperature and barometric pressure. The instrument also enables automatic compensation for the total salt volume in the water according to EN 25814 standard. Semiautomatic single point calibration in the open air (in the calibration unit or cover) is easy and exact.
The measured value of oxygen concentration is available immediately after switching the instrument on. It is not necessary wait after the sensor is polarized.
