Electrodes for pH Measurement
Glass electrodes are used almost exclusively for pH measurement. Their quality has significantly increased in the last few years, in particular their mechanical resistance, stability and lifetime.
Unless otherwise stated, they have a diameter of 12mm and length of 115 mm, electrodes are terminated by a low noise coaxial cable as standard (length 0.8-1m) and BNC connector. Semi-micro version electrodes have a probe diameter of 6.5mm in the same pipe, 70mm long. The overall length is 145mm. Stab electrodes have a sensor shaped into a point. A semi-micro stab electrode is suitable for measurement of small sample volumes, 0.5 to1ml.
