The fact that oxygen sensor requires no mixing (not even in stagnant water) enables spot-measurements or/and oxygen stratification mapping. The difference between the measured value taken in ideally mixed water and the one taken in stagnant water is at most of 6% of measured value.
A comfortable, large 3,5 digit display shows the measured value.
Easy one-point calibration is carried out on air in a calibration block that can also be used as a carry case when you are on the move. The calibration requires neither air-saturated water nor zero solution
Oxygen sensor is equipped with a high quality plastic membrane that enables long-term stable operation
The membrane held by the membrane head is very easy to replace: unscrew the old head, put 15 drops of electrolyte into the new one and screw it back on the sensor; no further adjustments are necessary - the sensor is ready for measurement.
An ordinary 9 Volt battery feeds energy for approx. 1000 hours of operation. Low battery is signalized on the device display for 20 hours before its complete dischargement.
